Johnson C. Smith University does not permit freshman students to bring vehicles to campus. There is an institutional process to request an exception. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis and can be initiated by contacting Dr. Cathy Jones, Dean of Students, at deanofstudents@jcsu.edu. 

If approved, you will be responsible for paying for your parking decal (done each year) and following all driving, parking, and vehicle rules and regulations, as stipulated by JCSU Campus Police and written in the JCSU Student Handbook. Failure to follow these rules and regulations may cause this privilege to be revoked, as well as the possibility of your car being ticketed, booted, and/or towed at your expense.
