Welcome to JCSU!
All Johnson C. Smith University students, faculty and staff are required to have an ID card. Our ID card is called the JCSU ID-Card and is used for many important services such as building access, meal plan and flex dollars purchases, admittance to athletic events, and much more.
Golden Bull Academy participants will have the opportunity to submit their photo through our ‘Online-Photo Submission Process’ prior to GBA. This process will reduce the amount of time you need to stand in line and increase the amount of time you can spend learning more about JCSU’s many offerings.
ID Card – Photo Submission Process
Student can access this process by following the steps listed below:
**You will be directed to the Microsoft Authentication process to verify your identity**
- Click on the ‘Profile’ tab
**Verify the following information: (JCSU email address, first name, last name)**
- Click on ‘Update’ at the bottom of page
- Scroll back to the top and Click on ‘Click to submit a new photo’ link
Picking up your JCSU ID Card
You will need to show a valid photo ID in order to receive your JCSU ID-Card. You can pick up your ID at designated areas during New and Transfer Student Orientation. Please refer to your Orientation schedule for specific locations and times.
Valid forms of ID include:
- State driver's license
- State-issued identification card
- Military-issued identification card
- Valid U.S. of foreign-issues passport (showing country of origin)
- Permanent Resident Alien Card
- Certificate of U.S. Naturalization
