VPM 132 Foundations of Contemporary Muscianship Three Credit Hours
This course is a foundational introduction to musicianship, music notation, and music theory. A placement test is given to incoming students during the open drop/add period, on which a score of 70% or higher is considered adequate preparation for VPM 143. If a student cannot demonstrate the competencies required, this preparation is satisfied by passing VPM 132 with a grade of "C" or better. Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor.
