SOC 233 Statistics for the Social and Behavioral Sciences
Three credit hours
The application of descriptive and inferential statistics to data in the social and behavioral sciences.
Emphasis on data classification, data reduction, the normal distribution, z scores, probability, hypothesis
testing, z test, t test, and statistical power. Prerequisite: MTH 136 or its equivalent. Co-listed as PSY 233
and SSC 233
