POL 430 Women in Politics Three Credit Hours
This course is an exploration of historical and contempary women's political issues and the ways in which women
articulated key issues both globally and domestically, mobilized and empowered themselves along with their
communities to address those issues. Throughout this course different theoretical and methodological framework
will be used to explain women's socioeconomic status, their relationship to the state and the impact of public policies
on their lives and their communities. (Offered in alternate years)
