    Description

    POL 231 State and Local Politics Three Credit Hours

    A study of politics and administration at the sub-national level. Emphasis on the social, economic, and legal settings of state and local governments in the American federal system. Topics include intergovernmental relations, fiscal problems, and services delivery.

    Prerequisite: POL 131, POL 230 or permission of instructor. (Offered in alternate years).
