MTH 490 Internship in Mathematics
Three credit hours
A supervised internship in a professional environment that exposes the student to how mathematics is
applied to solve real-world problems, as well as enabling students to interact with mathematicians in a
setting other than the classroom. The student is required to formally present a detailed description of his/her
experiences. Prerequisite: Consent of the Department.
