HED 395 Human Lactation Three Credit Hours
The didactic component of the lactation program provides students comprehensive breastfeeding and human lactation eduction. Students will be provided with the basic medical sciences as well as public health and social work perspectives, including consideration of equity, population and program-based applications associated with human lactation. Attendance at breastfeeding conferences and other pre-approved coursework will also be an important part of each student experience. Enrollment into the course by permission only.
