HED 236 Women’s Health Three credit hours
This course explores the field of women’s health and its relationship to both the lives of women and to
understanding broader culture and society.It is designed to give the student a basic scientific understanding
of the major differences between the sexes, the influence these differences have on illness and health
outcomes, and the implications for policy, medical research, and health care.
