ENG 432 The Bible as Literature Three credit hours
A nonsectarian literature course that aims to lead the student – as a lay reader – to an understanding and
appreciation of the sacred writings of the Christian tradition as literature. It is a research-oriented course
with a strong hermeneutical emphasis as opposed to a text-analysis emphasis.
