ENG 347 Creative Nonfiction Writing Workshop Three credit hours
Study of the theory and techniques of a variety of creative nonfiction genres as specified by the instructor. These genres could include writing for the web, blogging, travel writing, family genealogy/history writing, and others. Craft classes are combined with workshops of the student?s original creative nonfiction, followed by student revision of the manuscript. Assignments include readings, peer critique, and exercises culminating in a publishable piece of
original creative nonfiction. Prerequisite for enrollment: ENG 234 or prior consent of instructor.
