    Description

    CSE 331- Circuit Theory I Three Credit hours

    The course emphasizes Kirchoff?s laws, voltage and current sources,
    d-c circuit analysis, circuit theorem, Thevenin?s theorem, Norton?s theorem,
    superposition theorem, maximum power transfer theorem, mesh and node
    equations. It also includes A-C waveforms, average and r.m.s calculations,
    active and reactive power, introduction to a-c circuits, phasor diagrams, and
    an introduction to transit circuit analysis. Prerequisite: MTH 231 or higher.
