Applicants who have attended other regionally accredited institutions can apply for admission with advanced standing, provided they are academically eligible to return to the college or university last attended.
All transfer students must have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.00. The transfer student is not at liberty to disregard any part of his/her previous college or university records. Failure to report enrollment at another institution may result in dismissal and/or loss of credits earned at JCSU. No transfer credit is given for any course in which the applicant has earned a grade below C. Each transcript is evaluated on its own merits in light of its conformity with the program of study in the JCSU curriculum.
The University generally will accept a maximum of sixty-four credit hours from a regionally accredited junior college, and ninety credit hours from regionally accredited four-year institutions. Credit hours, not grade points, are transferred.
