Description

FRE 437 Francophone Literatures of Africa and the Caribbean Three credit hours

Study of the major literary works and movements from each area, with focus on negritude and the question of cultural identity. Authors studied include Senghor, C?saire, Sembene, B?, Oyono, Labouansi. Conducted in French. Prerequisite: FRE 331 or permission of instructor.
